Sundown Sunday, September 29 – October 1
From Deuteronomy 30:19: “I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day: I have put before you life and death, blessing and curse, Choose Life – if you and our offspring would live…”
One way we choose life is to stop, take stock of our achievements, our missings of the mark, and our blessings and curses. Then we set a new course, and celebrate and commemorate as a people the turning of the year. We live most intentionally and consciously when we mark such turning points. Join us this season as we celebrate the transition into the Jewish year 5780 with special foods, sounding of the shofar and more.
Happy New Year and remember everyone and anyone is welcome to attend Rosh Hashanah Services at Kavod.
