Jane Aiello has been writing poetry for more than five decades. Her love of this art form has carried her through the death of her parents, divorce, family members’ drug addiction and mental illness. Jane studied poetry at Arapahoe Community College and Lighthouse Writer’s Workshop. She is a member of The Poetry Society of Colorado, Poetry West, Lighthouse Writers Workshop and The Write Age.

Yen Adams is an Occupational Therapist and Clinical Program Lead for Dementia with Legacy Healthcare.

Jane W. Barton, author of Caregiving for the GENIUS, is a passionate national speaker, writer and listener. As the founder of Cardinal, LLC, she provides educational programs, books, videos, podcasts and blogs to assist people in confronting the daunting challenges posed by aging, serious illness and the end of life.

Rabbi Eliot J. Baskin, D.Min., DD., serves as the associate Rabbi at Temple Emanuel. Previously, he served for twenty years as Denver’s Jewish Community Chaplain. Ordained from Hebrew Union College in 1985, he became the first rabbi there to earn his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling.

Rabbi Stephen Booth Nadav is chaplain at Kavod Senior Life and founder and director of Wisdom House Denver: A Center for Multifaith Engagement and Spiritual Inquiry.

Patricia Cook, RN BSN MA, is Project Manager at the Colorado Gerontological Society. She has been in the nursing profession since 1969 and has a vast experience in aging, senior housing, assisted living, home care and community health. Patricia coaches seniors, their families and legal representatives in social security issues, Medicare and state aging programs, including Medicaid.

Jennie L. Creasey, LCSW, is theSenior Solutions Operations Manager at the Jay and Rose Phillips Aging Care & Connections at Jewish Family Service of Colorado.

Amy DelPo is the Administrator of Older Adults Services at the Denver Public Library. Amy has been a librarian for more than ten years and has worked in all aspects of library services for all ages — from babies to older adults. She has expertise in dementia and memory loss and the developmental stages of aging. She wants to change what it means to age in Denver through innovative programs and experiences for older adults.

Rabbi Tirzah Firestone, PhD, is an author, Jungian psychotherapist and founding rabbi of Congregation Nevei Kodesh in Boulder, Colorado. Ordained by Rabbi Zalman Schachter Shalomi in 1992, she is a leader in the international Jewish Renewal Movement and a renowned Jewish scholar and teacher. Her groundbreaking work, Wounds Into Wisdom: Healing Intergenerational Trauma (Monkfish, 2019), continues her exploration to transform patterns of suffering from our past and bring forth clarity, wisdom and blessings for ourselves and those who come after us.

Karen Gates is the Director, Admissions/Guest Service at Shalom Park.

Jennifer Grant is the Director of Assisted Living at Kavod Senior Life.

Rabbi Nadya Gross serves as co-Director and senior faculty of the Sage-ing® Legacy Program, a project of Yerusha, which offers workshops around the U.S. in the elements of the Sage-ing work and includes a training program for Sage-ing Mentors. She serves as Director of the ALEPH Hashpa’ah: Training Program for Jewish Spiritual Directors and as co-rabbi at Pardes Levavot Congregation in Boulder, CO, together with her beloved husband, Rabbi Victor Gross.

Zack Gutman is a Colorado Licensed Acupuncturist and recognized by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. Zack is the Clinic Director for the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as a “Clean Needle Technique Examiner” for the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He also a member of the National Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists. .

Dr. Kerry Hildreth is an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and provides primary care to patients at the University of Colorado Seniors Clinic.

Sarah Jasso is an occupational therapist with Legacy Healthcare.

Moe Keller has been Director of Advocacy for Mental Health Colorado since 2010. Before her work with Mental Health Colorado, Moe served for eight years in the Colorado House of Representatives and eight years in the Colorado Senate, where she concentrated on legislation and policy for individuals who have mental health conditions and for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Ondalee Kline is a resident at Kavod Senior Life.

Rabbi Raphael Leban is Managing Director at The Jewish Experience. For almost two decades in Denver, Rabbi Leban has been a teacher of Torah (the Bible), with a devoted following of students from across the community. He studied at the Mir Yeshiva in Israel and received Rabbinic Ordination at the Jerusalem Beis Din.

Cindy Luebke has been a Certified Fitness Professional for 37 years. She is AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Group Exercise Certified, Arthritis Certified, Aquatic Exercise Association Certified, Silver Sneaker Certified, Parkinson Exercise Certified, Tai Chi Certified and Ai Chi Certified.

Lt. Otis McKay, Jr. is an Emergency Medicine Service (EMS) Lieutenant at Denver Health Medical Center with over 36 years of experience in paramedicine. He is also an adjunct professor at the Community College of Aurora. Highly trained, he has completed extensive training in a variety of disciplines including Peer Support Training and Critical Incident Stress Management. He is an enthusiastic educator throughout the community, tirelessly seeking to insure all citizens have a basic understanding of paramedicine services and access to emergency medicine.

Heather Meloy has been working in the healing arts for over 22 years. She combines her knowledge and experience of therapeutic massage, yoga and Chinese Medicine to teach and support her clients and students on a Healing path. She has her Masters of Acupuncture from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has her massage certification from Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado and is a certified yoga teacher.

Stacie Naslund has been working with the senior population, specifically people with dementia, for the past 15 years. She is currently the Executive Director at Spring Ridge Park Assisted Living in Wheat Ridge, a community that is exclusively for memory care. She is an active volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association and enjoys teaching the community about dementia.

Esra Nutku-Bilir is a registered psychotherapist at Maria Droste Counseling, final year graduate student at Mental Health Counseling, Capella University. Esra currently works with adults, victimized women at Rose Andom Center and with older adults at Kavod Senior Life. Esra incorporates mindfulness with behavioral therapeutic approaches and applies trauma informed therapeutic approach for clients in need.

Dr. Tyson Oberndorfer is a geriatrician at the University of Colorado. He completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Colorado, and he completed Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Harvard University. Dr. Oberndorfer currently works as a primary care physician for older adults in the UCHealth Seniors Clinic. He is the co-founder and medical director of the UCHealth Fall Prevention Clinic.

Dr. Flo Raitano has been with DRCOG for six years in a variety of positions; she currently serves as the Director of Partnership Development and Innovation. She has worked in a variety of fields and has a wealth of experience, including having served two terms as Mayor of Dillon, the Executive Director for the Colorado Rural Development Council and the I70 Mountain Corridor Coalition as well as having served on the Board of Directors for St. Anthony’s Summit Medical Center.

Jayla Sanchez-Warren has been with DRCOG for over 30 years and is DRCOG’s Area Agency on Aging Director. Jayla has a MSW from DU and is well known in aging circles for her innovative and tireless efforts at ensuring the best services and resources are available for all seniors. Jayla also serves as host for the very popular No CoPay Radio show.

Jamie Sarche is Director of Prearranged Funeral Planning and Aftercare at Feldman Mortuary. Jamie brings deep experience in death care to a broad range of audiences around the country, sharing insights and approaches on how to have difficult conversations and address sensitive issues.

Sue Salinger is the Executive Director of Ekar Farm. She grows plants of all kinds, and teaches about the connection between us and nature in Jewish tradition.

Kevin White is owner of Full Circle Fitness and a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist and exercise performance enhancement specialist. Kevin’s fitness studio specializes in working with +60 adults on pain relief fitness and proper body mechanics training.

Jan Zavislan is Senior Counsel for the Consumer Protection Section at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. Jan iswell-versed on many frauds and scams happening around the state, has been with the Colorado Attorney General’s Office for 31 years and has prosecuted many companies who violated the Colorado Consumer Protection Act.
