We recognize that not all seniors choose to or are able to live with us, so Kavod on the Road brings programming, activities and education to older adults in the greater Denver area. Partnering with area agencies, synagogues and community centers, we provide valuable services in addition to our activities that include an annual conference on aging, monthly event publications and support for grassroots programs.
Recent Kavod on the Road programs have included:
- Boomers Brunch: Jews in Hollywood
- Get the Scoop: Bonnie Brae Ice Cream – History & Tasting
- Popular local Jewish entertainers: Hal Aqua and Julie Geller
- Trips to tour the Brown Palace, Union Station, and Botanic Gardens
To support the hardworking programming staff at local synagogues and community organizations, Kavod On The Road strives to bring supportive programming and resources to seniors wherever they are.
Program Recognition: 2017 Jewish Programming Award
