Presenter: Dr. Ester Mizrachi, Emergency Physician and the founder of SilverCare

Workshop Description:

 

Dr. Mizrachi’s Biography:
Esther Mizrachi, M.D., is a board-certified Emergency Physician and the founder of SilverCare, a concierge geriatric practice in Denver, which provides acute care home visits. Her extensive background includes serving as Core Faculty and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and leading national geriatric initiatives as former Geriatric Committee Chair for US Acute Care Solutions.

A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Mizrachi completed her residency at Northwell Health, a premier institution for Geriatric Emergency Medicine. She is a recognized leader in her field, having served on the faculty of the Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative and the board of Shalom Park Nursing Home. Today, she balances her concierge practice with clinical work in the Emergency Department, continuing her mission to elevate the standard of care for the aging population in the Denver metro region.

Rabbi Harris’ Biography:
Rabbi Kim Harris received her cantorial ordination and Masters of Sacred Music with honors from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Rabbi Harris began her career as an educator. Experiences of leading worship at congregations in South Carolina, teaching in the religious school, and serving in a cantorial capacity for the Southeast Region of Women of Reform Judaism inspired her to combine her passion for teaching with her love of Jewish music and liturgy by seeking the cantorate and, later, the rabbinate, earning rabbinic ordination in 2017.
