We have frequent openings for private pay apartments!

  • One Bedroom: 460 square feet

  • Assistance with dressing, bathing and personal grooming
  • Medication supervision and management
  • 3 meals a day and snacks (kosher available)
  • Daily bed-making and trash removal
  • Weekly laundry and housekeeping services
  • Emergency pull cords and safety bracelet/pendant
  • Five wellness checks a day–minimum
  • Coordinating transportation and appointments
  • Support from care and wellness coordinators

  • Access to the Health & Wellness Center with on-site health providers
  • Escorts to and from any meal, activities or appointments on campus: $250/month
  • Oxygen management: $250/month for all residents who rely on oxygen
  • Incontinence care: $450/month
  • 62 years of age or older
  • Successfully ambulate independently at least 150 feet
  • Be able to perform or be willing to receive assistance with activities of daily living, such as dressing, personal hygiene and bathing
  • Cannot be profoundly disoriented to time, person and place with safety concerns requiring a secure environment
  • Cannot require a therapeutic diet, transfer assistance, or restraints
  • Cannot have a history of conduct that would pose a danger to self/others

Cost

The overall cost for an Assisted Living apartment for an individual ranges from $3,800 – $4,100, which includes meals, basic utilities (excluding cable and phone) and services. The cost for a couple starts at $7,300, a $500 savings. (*prices subject to change). We accept private pay, Medicaid, veterans pension and long term care insurance. Kavod does not accept outside InnovAge applications.

No, Kavod Assisted Living only offers unfurnished apartments.

We accept long term care insurance, veterans pension and Medicaid after a one-year spend down.

Some of the oversight we provide is in place to keep our residents safe and to comply with regulations from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. While each facility has different protocols surrounding these items, all Assisted Living facilities follow guidelines to stay in good standing.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the Assisted Living Dining Room daily.

Yes, arrangements can be made if you are unable to eat in the dining room due to illness.

Each resident receives a minimum of 5 contacts a day with Kavod Staff.

No. Our apartments consist of studio and one bedroom units.

Eligibility for Medicaid (Health First Colorado) is determined by the State of Colorado and can take time to process. Please contact the Denver Department of Human Services online at Colorado.gov/PEAK or by phone at 1-800-221-3943 to apply for Medicaid services. Kavod is unable to lease apartments with Medicaid pending.
