Topic: Drawing from Miriam’s Well: Sustaining Our Spirits in the Work of Caring

The work of caring as professionals is holy. It is also challenging, as we find ourselves facing infinite needs with finite time, energy and resources. In this workshop, we’ll explore the image of Miriam’s Well, which nourished the Israelites in the wilderness. We’ll consider our experiences of depletion and replenishment, and develop strategies and resources for fostering resilience so that we can remain whole and inspired as we do this sacred work.

Rabbi Dayle is a social innovator, chaplain and scholar. She has been a leader in the fields of pastoral care, and spirituality and aging.
