Meet our Honorees
Kavod is proud to honor Judy and Gary Saltzman with the Elaine Wolf L’Dor V’Dor Award (Hebrew for generation to generation). L’dor v’dor represents the idea that each generation plays a role in shaping the next generation by instilling character and embodying the values and traditions of the past.
Judy and Gary have a long history of community service and have dedicated their time and resources to Kavod for over forty years. Three generations of Judy’s family have resided on campus. Gary serves on the Board of Directors and on various committees.
The Saltzmans were raised and educated in the Denver-metro area. Judy had a long career as a reading specialist tutoring children with learning differences and dyslexia while Gary built a successful career as a CPA and investment advisor. He now serves as a Tax Managing Director for CBIZ MHM.
Judy and Gary represent Kavod’s ideals of “honor, community and Jewish values.”
